history
In 1923 the company Zitzlsperger Landtechnik was founded in Deggendorf, Lower Bavaria . After the reorientation as a technical dealer, ZITEC Industrietechnik GmbH , founded in 1998, emerged.
In 2000 the company moved to Plattling , where the company is still based today. In 2007 ZITEC received the Bavarian best 50 award from the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology .
In 2012 the ZITEC Group was founded by merging ZITEC Industrietechnik GmbH and the JUNG Group and entered into an alliance with Industrial Parts Holding from France.
In 2015, as part of an alliance between the IPH Group and KISTENPFENNIG AG, the KISTENPFENNIG company became part of the ZITEC Group.
In 2016, the ZITEC Group took over HEPA Wälzlager GmbH & Co. KG based in Rostock. In 2017, as part of a change of investors, a collaboration with Brammer GmbH was started, and in 2019 the company was renamed Rubix GmbH.
In 2019, Schäfer Technik GmbH , based in Neu-Ulm, and LERBS GmbH , based in Bremen Rubix, joined.
Corporate structure
The company headquarters is in Plattling, Lower Bavaria . Rubix GmbH is represented at 47 locations across Germany.
In 2012 it became a subsidiary of the Industrial Parts Holding Group (IPH) based in Paris. Today Rubix GmbH belongs to the Rubix Group which was founded in June 2017 through the merger between IPH and Brammer after the takeover of Advent International .

Logistics center
In 2013 the new logistics center of Rubix GmbH (then ZITEC Industrietechnik GmbH) was opened at the company's headquarters in Plattling. More than 4,000 parcels are delivered from here every day. On 12,500 square meters there is an automatic small parts warehouse with approx. 80,000 storage spaces of the TGW Logistics Group as well as pallet and shelf storage .
