Rubus gunnianus is a species of the genus Rubus , the only member of the subgenus Diemenicus .
description
Rubus gunnianus is a shrub that reaches a height of up to 100 centimeters and a diameter of up to 50 centimeters. The species is hermaphrodite, the petals are white, the small collective drupes are red.
Distribution and habitat
The species is endemic to Tasmania in mountains at altitudes between 900 and 1500 m. It makes no special demands on the soil, but needs an open, half to full sun and fresh to moist location.
