Ruby Commey

Ruby Commey (born July 29, 1991 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

After graduating from high school in 2011, she played in the play Fluchtpunkt Berlin (directed by Tobias Rausch ) at the Deutsches Theater from 2011 to 2012 . In the following years she was seen at the Kammerspiele of the German Theater, for example in Tod.Sünde.7 (2013–2015) and Alice (2015). Audition roles resulted for Ingrid Lausund's Hysterikon , a monologue as Gudrun Ensslin in Wenn du Spedenst, Desdemona and as Sonja in Uncle Wanja . From 2016 to 2019 she studied at the University of the Arts theater . In 2017 she was seen at the Deutsches Theater as Miss Forsythe in Bastian Kraft's production of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman . She also took part in David Bösch's production Eine Frau - Mary Page MarloweI at the Berliner Ensemble in 2017 . In 2018 she played in Hermann Schmidt-Framer's production of A Sport by Elfriede Jelinek at the Theater an der UdK Berlin. For the season 2019/20 it was under the direction of Sonja Anders at the Hanover Theater dedicated.

Commey became internationally known through the music video Germany , which the band Rammstein released in March 2019 and in which she plays Germania . In this music video, she gets more performance time than most of Rammstein's band members.
