Rudelsdorf is a district of the municipality Heideland in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia , which is part of the administrative community Heideland-Elstertal-Schkölen .
geography
Rudelsdorf, Lindau and Königshofen are to the west of the Federal Motorway 9 , which even cuts through their boundaries. These villages are located in rural areas and are led from the state road 1073 to the city of Eisenberg and to the junction of the federal motorway. This rural area is traversed by a forested wave in which a flowing water runs.
history
Rudelsdorf was first mentioned in a document in 1350. After the fall of the Wall, the farmers of the heathland formed the Buchheim-Crossen eG agricultural cooperative to organize work in the countryside.
The shawm orchestra Lindau / Rudelsdorf is a sought-after ensembles from the country.
