geography
The hamlet of Tbodla is located on a winding local road between Tünschütz and Gösen . The village is surrounded by fields and forest to the north, east and south. The land is also docked to the west , but not forested. In Gösen there is a connection to the state road 1071 to Eisenberg and to the federal motorway 9 .
history
The first documentary mention of the hamlet of Tbodla is dated November 27, 1341. In 1223 the von Goslar brothers recorded a document stating that their blood relatives, the noble von Tutinberg and his son, had given their estate - a piece of woodland - to Margravine Jutta . This piece of forest still exists between Tünschütz and Tbodla.
The town of Tbodla may be older, but has always been characterized by agriculture. It belonged to the Wettin district office in Eisenberg , which was under the sovereignty of various Ernestine duchies due to several divisions in the course of its existence . In 1826 the place came with the southern part of the Eisenberg district office and the city of Eisenberg from the Duchy of Saxony-Gotha-Altenburg to the Duchy of Saxony-Altenburg . From 1920 he belonged to the Free State of Thuringia.
