Rudi Albusberger

Rudolf "Rudi" Albusberger (born October 2, 1919 in Bockau ) is a former German gymnast and gymnastics teacher.

Life

Albusberger originally comes from the Ore Mountains and is a trained mechanical draftsman . At the German gymnastics and game championships in 1943 , he reached 8th place with 216.1 points in the twelve fight . At the end of the war he was taken prisoner of war . At that time he offered the camp commandant to teach gymnastics.

In 1947 he came to Hamburg-Bergedorf , where he became a gymnastics teacher for the Bergedorfer Gymnastics Association from 1860, which was merged with TSG Bergedorf in 1965 . In 1948 he married. He was a member of the German national team.

From 1964 until his retirement he worked as a gymnastics teacher for future sports teachers at the University of Marburg . At the end of the 2000s, at the request of his wife, he returned to Hamburg with her, where he lived with his daughter in the Lohbrügge district .
