Rudolf Bieri
Rudolf Bieri (born January 22, 1952 ; † January 13, 2010 in Oberbipp ) was a Swiss politician ( SVP ) and farmer .
Bieri was a member of the municipal council and from 2005 until his death mayor of Oberbipp. He has also been a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern since 2002 . On January 13, 2010, Bieri had a fatal accident with his tractor at work .
At the beginning of March, his party colleague Peter Andres replaced him on the Grand Council. Andres was a member of the cantonal parliament from 2002 to 2006.
