Rudolf Bruns

Rudolf Bruns (born September 11, 1910 in Berlin ; † July 20, 1979 in Asselheim ) was a German lawyer .

Life

From 1928 to 1931 he studied law and political science, economics and sociology at the University of Breslau . After the first state examination on February 8, 1932, he was an assistant at the University of Breslau from 1933 to 1939. After his doctorate on July 12, 1935 with Walter Schmidt-Rimpler in Breslau and his habilitation on December 15, 1943, he was a lecturer at the University of Hamburg in 1946 . From 1946 to 1953 was an associate professor for civil law and civil procedural law at the University of Mainz . From 1953 to 1956 he taught as a professor at Saarbrücken University . From 1956 to 1978 ( retirement ) he was a full professor at the University of Marburg .
