Church of St. Pauli Conversion

St. Pauli Conversion is a Catholic parish church in the local community of Thomm in the district of Trier-Saarburg in Rhineland-Palatinate . The parish of Thomm belongs to the parish community Waldrach in the dean's office Hermeskeil-Waldrach in the diocese of Trier .

The church bears the patronage of St. Pauli Conversion . It was built from local slate in Trier Street from 1963 to 1965 according to plans by the Trier architect Heinrich Otto Vogel .

The not far away old church in Kirchstrasse from 1788 was demolished in 1974 except for a floor plan of the foundation walls and the church tower. The church tower is a cultural monument and contains the church bells as well as the memorial hall for the fallen. A baroque Mother of God and a Way of the Cross around 1900 are also listed as cultural monuments as church furnishings in the new church . A nativity scene is installed during the Christmas season .
