The Hermeskeil-Waldrach deanery is one of 33 deaneries in the Catholic diocese of Trier , which is located in the south-west of Germany and is divided into the visitation districts of Koblenz , Saarbrücken and Trier . It extends over the areas of the Verbandsgemeinde Hermeskeil , the former Verbandsgemeinde Kell am See and the Verbandsgemeinde Ruwer as well as the Trier district of Ruwer / Eitelsbach .

The Deanery Hermeskeil was first constituted in 1827 with 32 parishes.

The Dean's Office Hermeskeil-Waldrach today consists of the parish of St. Franziskus Hermeskeil and the parish communities of Schillingen and Waldrach (status: 2019). Clemens Grünebach was the Dean of the Dean's Office until June 2019.
