Individual evidence and explanations

  1. The year of death is given contradictingly in the literature, English sources even give 1923 as the year of death. The year 1903 seems the most plausible, so it is used in this article.
  2. Since Henrietta's father, Joseph Brunswick (* 1750, † 1827) died without a male heir, Henrietta inherited the lordship of Unterkrupa and brought it as a dowry to the marriage with Hermann Chotek. Through this marriage, the rule came into the possession of the Chotek family.
  3. Maria Antonia was the eldest daughter of Richard, Maria 5th Prince of Khevenhüller-Metsch (* 1813; † 1877) and his wife Antonia Countess Lichnowsky (* 1818; † 1870)
  4. Czech: Komorní Hrádek (zámek)
  5. The Chotek Mausoleum was built on the initiative of Rudolf Chotek. It was built in 1894 according to plans by the Austrian architect Stanislaus Hanusch (* 1846, † 1904).
