Rudolf Dauber

Rudolf Dauber (born April 12, 1899 in Heftrich ; † November 15, 1980 in Diez ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

Rudolf Dauber attended elementary school, the Idstein secondary school and the Mainz secondary school and studied economics for two semesters. From 1917 to 1918 he did military service in the First World War and in 1919 began working for the Nassauische Landesbank in Wiesbaden and Frankfurt. In 1925 he was head of the bank branches in Selters, Kelkheim, Nassau and Diez. In 1948 he was head of the Oberlahnstein head office for 15 branches of the Nassauische Landesbank in the administrative region of Montabaur, and later a managerial position at the Landesbank Rheinland-Pfalz followed .

In 1934 Dauber became a member of the Nazi war victims' pension and in 1935 a member of the DAF . In 1946 he was one of the founders of the CDU in Diez. For his party he was a member of the Diez City Council and the district council. In 1946/47 he was a member of the Advisory State Assembly of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate. He was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate Landtag from June 4, 1947 to May 17, 1951 (1st electoral term) and from June 1, 1955 to May 18, 1959 (3rd electoral term). In the state parliament he was a member of the budget and finance committee and the economic and transport committee in the first electoral term. In the third electoral term he was a member of the budget and finance committee.
