NGC 6379 is a 13.1 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Hercules . It is estimated to be 273 million light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on May 15, 1864 .
