NGC 6378 is a 14.3 mag bright spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Serpent Bearer in the northern sky . It is an estimated 303 million light years from the Milky Way and has a disk diameter of about 115,000 ly.
The object was discovered on July 13, 1876 by Édouard Stephan .
