NGC 6384 is a bar-spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble-type Sb in the constellation Snake Bearer at the celestial equator . It is estimated to be 80 million light years from the Milky Way and about 150,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered on June 10, 1863 by the German astronomer Albert Marth .
