NGC 6382 is a 14.6 mag bright galaxy of the Hubble-type S? in the constellation Dragon in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 405 million light years from the Milky Way and about 110,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Edward D. Swift on June 2, 1883 .
