Rudolf Albert Fiebich (born April 15, 1932 in Laurahütte ; † December 19, 2016 in Erfurt ) was a German university teacher.

After graduating from high school in 1951, starting as a subject teacher assistant in Lauchhammer , he took several part-time distance learning courses at the German Central Pedagogical Institute and the Potsdam University of Education to become a physics subject teacher (1953) and physics high school teacher (1966).

From 1961 Rudolf Fiebich taught for 36 years at the Erfurt University of Education as a graduate physics teacher, research assistant and internship manager for physics with a focus on microphysics, optics and electronics . He was radiation protection officer for the Erfurt university area and worked in the field of teacher training.

After his retirement in 1997 he founded a physics laboratory for schoolchildren in cooperation with the Thuringian Museum of Electrical Engineering in Erfurt. For this voluntary commitment in the field of education, Rudolf Fiebich was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on March 8, 2013 .
