Rudolf Groesch

Rudolf Grösch (born July 8, 1944 in Künzell , Fulda district) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

Life

In 1950 Grösch began to attend elementary school in Künzell. In 1954 he switched to the Rabanus-Maurus-Schule (humanistic grammar school) in Fulda and passed the Abitur in 1963. From April 1963 to October 1964 he was an intern at Elektro-Bosch in Fulda. At the same time, he began studying electrical engineering at the Braunschweig Technical University in the winter semester of 1963/1964 . Three years later there was a change of subject in the winter semester of 1966/1967. Grösch began studying sociology as a major at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt and successfully passed the diploma examination in February 1974. From August 1974 to December 1981 he was employed as an adult education advisor in the International House Sonnenberg in St. Andreasberg.

He has been a member of the ÖTV trade union since 1974 . He became a member of the Green List Environmental Protection in 1978 and a member of the GREENS party two years later (1980). Grösch became a member of Bildungswerk Leben und Umwelt eV. (BLU).

Public offices

In the 10th electoral term, Grösch became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from June 21, 1982 to June 5, 1985. He became deputy chairman of the GREEN parliamentary group between June 21, 1982 and June 19, 1983. He was also chairman of the committee of the rules of procedure from June 23, 1982 to June 5, 1985. From 2006 to 2011 he was a member of the Oldenburg City Council with a focus on environmental and transport policy.
