Rudolf Gross (politician, 1888)

Rudolf Gross (born September 20, 1888 in Rastenberg , Thuringia, † August 3, 1955 in Heidelberg ) was a German politician (NSDAP).

In his youth, Gross attended grammar school in Weimar, the Schola latina in Halle and the Francke Foundations .

As a reservist in the Fusilier Regiment 90, Gross took part in the First World War as an MG officer , in which he was wounded several times. After the war he belonged to an East Prussian border guard MG company until June 1919 . After that he lived for a few years as a mill owner in Neustadt an der Aisch . At the end of 1922 Gross became a customs officer in East Prussia. In this profession he was promoted at least to the position of Chief Customs Secretary.

At the end of the 1920s, Gross joined the NSDAP , for which he sat from July 1932 to November 1933 as a member of the Reichstag for constituency 1 (East Prussia) .

After the Second World War, Gross lived in southern Germany.
