Rudolf Haberleitner

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rudolf Haberleitner (born April 8, 1945 in Krems an der Donau ) is an Austrian manager.

Life

After an apprenticeship, Haberleitner graduated from HTL with a focus on high frequency and communications technology. In his first professional station he worked for Voest Alpine in the IT and organization area for four years . Afterwards he was responsible for marketing and sales at NCR Corporation Austria. This was followed by a commitment to the Hirsch Group, where he claims, as the responsible sales manager, increased sales from 2 to 250 million euros. Subsequently, Haberleitner became self-employed as a consultant with HL-Consult-Unternehmensberatung GesmbH.

According to Haberleitner, it has processed 250 transactions. However, some of these renovations have come under fire. Haberleitner claims to have renovated the Gmünder furniture manufacturer Bobbin in 1983. In 1985 bankruptcy is said to have occurred regardless of this. His involvement with Lindpointner and BMW St. Pölten is also controversial. Bankruptcy proceedings were opened in 1997 against his own consultancy, MCS Management Consulting Services GesmbH.

At the end of July 2012, Haberleitner and his private equity fund TAP09 took over 100% of Schlecker Österreich GmbH with all 1350 branches in Austria, Italy, Poland, Belgium and Luxembourg. At the same time he presented a new local supply concept under the name Dayli . Since then, the company has operated as TAP dayli Vertriebs GmbH . Haberleitner expected profits of 10 million euros as early as 2013. With the propagated Sunday opening, however, Haberleitner came into conflict with the union.

In November 2012, Haberleitner managed to win Johann Graf over to Novomatic at Dayli. Novomatic took over a 45% share for one euro and granted a loan of 10 million euros. However, Novomatic withdrew again in May 2013. At the same time, payment difficulties became public. In the course of the search for new investors, Haberleitner apparently fell for an Italian fraudster. In the case of a dubious handover of one million euros in a bag, the fraudster fled. According to Haberleitner, these were Dayli company assets.

On July 4, 2013, the company finally filed for bankruptcy itself under pressure from the credit protection association. Shortly before, Haberleitner had transferred his shares to Martin Zieger's ICU Unternehmensberatung GmbH for a rumored euro. The reason for this is not known. On July 19, 2013, Zieger announced that he had dismissed Haberleitner as Dayli managing director with immediate effect and put Peter Krammer and Hanno Rieger in his place.

Doctoral degree controversy

Haberleitner has had a doctorate since the mid-1990s. As early as 2001, the Greens questioned the origin of the doctoral degree in a parliamentary question, but received no answer from the BM Forstinger responsible at the time. In connection with the bankruptcy of Dayli, the plagiarism hunter Weber made inquiries and found no dissertation. Haberleitner is said to have responded evasively to a direct request for the date and place of the doctorate.
