Rudolf Lippert (table tennis player)

Rudolf Lippert (born June 22, 1935 ) was one of the strongest table tennis players in the GDR in the 1960s . He took part in the 1963 World Table Tennis Championships in Prague.

Lippert played in Döbeln until March 1954 , then in the table tennis center in Jena and at FC Carl Zeiss Jena and SC Motor Jena . In 1955, 1958 and 1959 he won the GDR team championship with Motor Jena. In 1962 he finished second in the GDR championships in Chemnitz, in 1958 he was second in doubles (with Helmut Hanschmann ), and in 1961 (with Heinz Reimann ). In 1960 he took part in the European Championship in Zagreb . At the 1963 World Cup he finished 9th with the GDR team.
