Rudolf Möller (philologist)
Rudolf Möller (born September 10, 1815 in Königsberg i. Pr. , † December 2, 1885 ibid) was a German high school teacher .
Life
From Michaelmas 1831 he studied history , geography and modern languages at the Albertus University in Königsberg . After becoming a Dr. phil. had received his doctorate , he passed the exam pro facultate docendi in 1837 . Then employed as a teacher at the Kneiphöfisches Gymnasium , he received the 7th full teaching position at the Altstädtisches Gymnasium (Königsberg) at Easter 1842 . The Crown of Prussia appointed him Michaelis King in 1858. Professor appointed and promoted to the 1st senior teacher position. Michaelis in 1863 he was elected director of the old town high school. He was retired at Easter 1885 . In December of the same year he died at the age of 70.
