Rudolf Miele

Rudolf Miele (born November 4, 1929 in Gütersloh ; † August 19, 2004 there ) was a German entrepreneur .

Miele graduated from the Evangelisch Stiftischen Gymnasium Gütersloh in 1948 .

From 1960 he was managing partner of the household appliance manufacturer Miele . He was a son of Carl Miele jun. (1897–1986) and grandson of Miele founder Carl Miele sen. (1869-1938). Like his grandfather and father, Rudolf Miele was made an honorary citizen of the city of Gütersloh in 1999 .

In 1999, Rudolf Miele bought back an automobile from Norway that had been produced by the household appliance manufacturer Miele before the First World War (and was the only one to have survived) .
