Rudolf Monnerjahn (born May 23, 1934 in Bremen ) is a German lawyer , notary and politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Bremen citizenship .

Monnerjahn is the son of a teacher. He graduated from the Hermann-Böse-Gymnasium in Bremen. From 1954, after graduating from high school until 1958, he studied law at the University of Hamburg and the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . After the first legal exam he worked as a trainee lawyer in Freiburg im Breisgau and Bremen. In 1962, after passing the second state examination, he received his doctorate in 1963 in Freiburg. jur. utr. ( Doctor of both rights ). From 1963 to 1974 he worked as a lawyer at Heinrich Hannover and represented clients in matters of conscientious objection , among other things . In 1969 he successfully represented the SPD parliamentary group chairman Richard Boljahn from Bremen in an SPD party regulation procedure .

In April 1971 he was appointed notary in Bremen. In 1974 he opened a law firm and practiced in various law firms ; current lawyers Dr. Rudolf Monnerjahn & Wolfgang Hirt .

Monnerjahn is married for the second time and has two children from the first marriage.
