Rudolf Stössel

Rudolf Stössel (born November 30, 1903 in Frauenfeld , † November 27, 1998 in St. Gallen ) was a Swiss teacher , puppeteer and harmonist .

Rudolf Stössel studied mathematics and physics at the ETH Zurich , where he then worked as an assistant to Paul Scherrer and obtained his doctorate in mathematical natural sciences in 1931 . From 1932 Stössel was a specialist teacher for mathematics and physics at the cantonal St. Gallen teachers' seminar in Rorschach for 40 years .

In addition, Stössel became known as an experimental puppeteer and harmonist. With his harmonic studies he followed up on the work of Hans Kayser .
