Rudolf Tesmann

Rudolf Tesmann (born March 29, 1910 in Stettin ; † January 17, 2005 in Düsseldorf ) was a German SS-Obersturmbannführer. After the war he became a member of the Presidium of the CDU Economic Council.

Life

Tesmann studied law at the University of Göttingen and became a member of the Corps Teutonia in 1928. Long before 1933 he joined the National Socialist German Workers' Party ( membership number 391.609) and the Schutzstaffel (membership number 277.331). In 1936 he joined the NSDAP / AO and in the same year became Hauptscharführer in the SS. In January 1937 he became adjutant to Ernst Wilhelm Bohle , the head of the NSDAP / AO. From 1943 he was SS-Obersturmbannführer. From March 1944 until the end of the war he was the liaison to Reichsleiter Martin Bormann . He was interned after the end of the war and made friends with Helmut Horten , who helped him to a position as general representative in his department store in 1948 . He was also a board member of Seestern AG for transport and insurance. Tesmann was a member of the Presidium of the CDU Economic Council . The Corps Neoborussia-Berlin zu Bochum awarded him the ribbon in 1968. He is buried in the Nordfriedhof (Düsseldorf) .
