Rudolph Pischinger

Rudolph Pischinger (born May 27, 1935 in Waidhofen an der Thaya ) is an Austrian scientist and mountaineer .

Life

In 1970 Rudolph Pischinger became full professor for thermodynamics at the Technical University of Graz , where he researched and taught until his retirement in 2003. As a mountaineer, he took part in several expeditions in the Hindu Kush and Karakoram from 1963 ; important first ascents were also made.
