Ruehl No.925 was a US fashion company owned by Abercrombie & Fitch from 2004 to 2010 .

The Ruehl brand was founded in 2004 and is only available through the Group's own sales channels. The first three Ruehl stores opened at the same time on September 7, 2004 in California, followed by around 20 more stores and an online shop . A special feature of the stores was that they - even within shopping malls - such as private houses with clinker - facade and several rooms and without window with window had opened.

925 was a fictional number on Greenwich Street (the actual street ends at number 800) in New York City . A separate pseudo company history had been worked out for the brand , in which the name Ruehl belonged to a German emigrant family in the 19th century. The style of Ruehl's collection was similar to that of Abercrombie, but it was intended for a slightly older audience (approx. 22–35 years), was of a higher quality and was intended to compete with brands such as Banana Republic or J.Crew. The prices were initially around 30 percent above the prices of the Abercrombie main brand, but were reduced to around 10-15% above the prices of Abercrombie after complaints from customers. As Logo One was French Bulldog used (Called: Trubble derived from the English word: trouble for, anger ',' Plage '), or simply the letter "R". Ruehl was only active in the USA .

In the spring of 2009, the Abercrombie & Fitch Co. announced that the Ruehl No. 925, and thus all 29 Ruehl stores, to be closed by the end of January 2010 (end of A & F's financial year) due to insufficient sales . The stores were taken over by Abercrombie & Fitch itself or by Gilly Hicks , another Abercrombie & Fitch subsidiary for women's underwear and clothing.
