The Ruf CTR 2017 (Group C T win-Turbo R uf) is a super sports car from the southern German car manufacturer Ruf Automobile . The vehicle made its debut at the 87th Geneva Motor Show in March 2017. With the shape of the CTR 2017, Ruf cites the CTR "Yellowbird" from 1987, which can reach speeds of up to 360 km / h .
Model history
So far, there have been Porsche models modified by Ruf . Although the CTR 2017 is similar to the Porsche 911 , it is the manufacturer's first vehicle developed entirely in-house. A monocoque made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic with a screwed-on subframe made of tubular steel and light metal serves as the basis . The body style of the Porsche 964 is made of a carbon fiber - laminate . As a result, the dry weight of the vehicle is only 1200 kg. The EUR 892,500 CTR 2017 is limited to 30 copies. These have been produced in Pfaffenhausen since 2019 .
Technical specifications
The 3.6-liter turbo - boxer engine provides 522 kW (710 hp) and has a maximum torque of 880 Nm at 2750 to 4000 / min. It is installed in the rear and drives the rear wheels via a seven-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. This means that in 2017 the CTR reaches over 360 km / h and accelerates to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds.
All wheels are individually suspended on double wishbones with internal spring-damper units operated via a linkage . The disc brakes have multi-piston brake calipers and internally ventilated ceramic brake discs with a diameter of 380 mm at the front and 350 mm at the rear.
