The Neidegg ruin is the ruin of a hilltop castle on a rocky mountain edge at 589.1 m above sea level. NN high above the Blau in the Markbronn district of the municipality Blaustein in the Alb-Danube district in Baden-Württemberg .
history
The castle was built in the 13th century by the Lords of Neidegg, indirectly mentioned in 1267 and probably destroyed by the city of Ulm around 1480 . In the 15th century, a Nikolauskapelle was built on the castle area, which had already disappeared before 1830. Only a few remains of the walls of the castle can be seen.
