Ruki wwerch ( Russian Руки вверх , translated “hands up!” ) Is one of the most successful Russian dance groups from the 90s to the present day. The band mainly produces dance music combined with simple melodies. One of their greatest hits is "Kroschka Moja" .
Her hit Pesenka from 1998 was covered two years after its release by the German band ATC (produced by successful German producer Alex Christensen ) and reached number 1 in the German charts under the title Around the World and also made the leap in the United States in the top 30.
The group officially disbanded in August 2006.
In 2008 the group made its comeback.
Sergei Zhukov has been on tour for the past few years. There are solo concerts and smaller club concerts in Russia and Europe (including Germany ). There is also an exclusive three-hour show in Moscow .
