Gerhard Kuske

Gerhard Kuske (born August 22, 1911 in Sagan ; † March 16, 2001 ) was a Hessian politician ( GB / BHE ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Gerhard Kuske did a technical apprenticeship after graduating from elementary school and business school. He then worked as a technician in a surveying office and from 1936 as head of this office. He did military service from 1939 to 1945 and was a prisoner of war from 1945 to 1948. Since 1948 he was a surveying technician in the land registry office Hofgeismar .

Gerhard Kuske had been a member of the NSDAP since July 1, 1941 .

Gerhard Kuske was a member of the All-German Bloc / Federation of Expellees and Disenfranchised (GB / BHE) and in his party a member of the state executive committee and district chairman of North Hesse. Through the merger of the GB / BHE with the German Party (DP) , he became a member of the All-German Party (GDP) in 1960 .

From 1956 he was active in local politics as a district member and deputy mayor of the city council. From September 1, 1966 to August 31, 1976 he was mayor of Hofgeismar.

From December 6, 1959, when he moved up for Gustav Hacker , to November 30, 1962 and from November 10, 1964, when he succeeded Hacker again, to November 30, 1966, he was a member of the Hessian state parliament. In 1959 he was a member of the 3rd Federal Assembly .

Other offices

Gerhard Kuske had worked in the Association of Expelled Germans (BvD) and district chairman of the Silesian Landsmannschaft since 1948 .
