ATC ( A T ouch of C lass ) were a Euro Dance / Pop band from Germany . Members were Sarah Egglestone (born April 4, 1975 in Warrandyte , Australia ), Joseph "Joey" Murray (born July 5, 1974 in New Zealand ), Tracey Elizabeth Packham (born July 30, 1977 in England ) and Livio Salvi (* 25. January 1977 in Italy ).

Band history

The band members met in 1998 when they were engaged in the musical Cats and were discovered there by Thomas M. Stein . In 2000 they made it to number 1 in the German charts with the single Around the World (La La La La La) produced by Alex Christensen (cover version of the hit Pesenka by Ruki wwerch from 1998) and received the Echo as best dance act in 2001 . In 2002 they were sued by the DJ ATB based on the band's name, so the band renamed itself A Touch of Class . Due to the low success of the second album Touch the Sky , the band broke up in 2003.

On October 20, 2007, the two male band members performed at the ultimate chart show on RTL , where they sang the song Around the World live.
