Rullman Peak

The Rullman Peak is a 1910  m high mountain in the Ellsworth Mountains of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises south of the Grimes Glacier in the Anderson Massif of the Heritage Range .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Gerald D. Rullman, a chief equipment operator of the United States States Navy, who, as the leader of a drilling team, pierced the Ross Ice Shelf at a depth of 160 feet during an Operation Deep Freeze near the Dailey Islands that same year .
