The Romanian national women's field handball team represented Romania at internationals and international tournaments.

The greatest success was the second world championship title at the world championship ( 1956 and 1960 ).

Romanian national handball teams took part in two of the three field handball world championships held until 1960 . In 1960 they took part as an all-German team .
