The Rumbach is a nearly two-kilometer-long tributary of a side branch of the left here Saarbach called Sauer in the Southern Palatinate .

The Rumbach rises in a north-eastern corner of the Königsbruch nature reserve in the western Wasgau on the northern slope of the Great Adelsberg . Its source is at an altitude of 235  m above sea level. NN directly south of the Kastelfelsen and north of the L 478 , which accompanies him on his way to the mouth. The stream initially flows westwards past the Kleiner Adelsberg and is dammed in a series of small fish ponds. It now turns to the southwest and finally flows southeast of Fischbach near Dahn at an altitude of 214  m above sea level. NN in a left branch of the Saarbach .
