The Rusegropa ( Norwegian ) is a depression of the Sør Rondane in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the southern part of the Gropeheia it lies east of De Gerlacheberget .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1988. The name basically means the sink in which the aircraft engines run .
