The Russell Investments Center is a 182 meter high office building in Seattle , Washington .

history

In 2001 Washington Mutual commissioned the Pine Street Group to build a new building for them. On November 12, 2002, Seattle City Council approved construction of the building. Construction work began in 2004 and was completed in March 2006. It was the largest new build in downtown Seattle in 15 years. The outbuilding of the skyscraper that houses the Seattle Art Museum opened in May 2007.

The building was renamed Chase Center on June 1, 2009 following the acquisition of Washington Mutuals by JPMorgan Chase . After Russell Investments decided to move to Seattle in 2009, they bought the building and renamed it the Russell Investments Center .
