Ruth Groß Maß is a German professor of social philosophy and ethics . She lives and works in Bielefeld and Berlin .

life and work

After the state examination in 1973 in the subjects of philosophy , German and pedagogy at the Ruhr University Bochum and the Philipps University Marburg , tutors , teaching assignments , training in group dynamics and first activities in women's studies followed until 1976 .

From 1976 to 2006, Groß Maß took on a practical job in the central study advisory service at Bielefeld University with a focus on women and learning techniques and received his doctorate in 1999 with a thesis on advice.

She had lectureships at the University of Duisburg-Essen , the University of Bielefeld and the Technical University of Dresden . Until 1983, Groß took part in extra-occupational training in conversation management, institutional counseling and group psychotherapy based on depth psychology .

Groß Maß works as a freelance supervisor and moderator in women's projects and social work facilities.

From 1990 to 1998 she worked on the editorial team of the journal Psychologie und Gesellschaftskritik and since 2003 she has been a member of the advisory board for women's refuge coordination .

Large size has had a feminist focus since 1979. She worked with Christiane Schmerl on the teaching research project Feminist Theory and the Gender Category in the Social Sciences at the Faculty of Education at Bielefeld University.

In 2004, Groß Maß was appointed professor for ethics and action theory at the Alice Salomon University in Berlin .
