Ruth Rosenfeld
Ruth Rosenfeld (born April 22, 1920 in Frankfurt am Main , † 1991 in the USA ) was an American writer of German origin.
Ruth Rosenfeld began writing poetry as a teenager. As a Jew, she fled to the USA in 1939 and worked there as an office worker. Her parents perished during the National Socialist era , their mother in Auschwitz concentration camp and their father in an internment camp .
Her manuscripts were only found after her death and edited by Ursula Dreysse.
