Ryōsuke Okuno ( Japanese 奥 野 僚 右 , Okuno Ryōsuke ; born November 13, 1968 in Kyōto Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.

Career

Okuno learned to play soccer on the Yamashiro High School school team and the Waseda University college team . He signed his first contract with the Kashima Antlers in 1993 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . With the club he became Japanese champions in 1996 and 1998 . In 1997 he won the J.League Cup and the Kaiserpokal with the club . For the club he completed 185 first division games. In 2000 he moved to league rivals Kawasaki Frontale . In 2000 he reached the final of the J.League Cup. For the club he completed 25 first division games. In 2001 he moved to league rivals Sanfrecce Hiroshima . For this club he completed 21 first division games. He then played with Thespa Kusatsu (2002-2003). At the end of 199 he ended his career as a football player.
