Ryūichi Kurata ( Japanese 倉田 龍 一 , Kurata Ryūichi ; born August 6, 1986 in Sapporo , Hokkaidō ) is a Japanese ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Nikkō Ice Bucks in the Asia League Ice Hockey since 2010 .

Career

Ryūichi Kurata began his career as a hockey player in the team of the Hōsei University . He then signed a contract with Tohoku Free Blades , which began playing in the Asia League Ice Hockey in the 2009/10 season . In this, the attacker gave two assists in 17 games in his rookie year in professional ice hockey. He also received 14 penalty minutes. For the 2010/11 season, the attacker moved within the AIHL to the Nikkō Ice Bucks , where he was able to increase to three goals and three assists in 36 games.
