Ryan Moseley (born October 8, 1982 in Bridgetown ) is an Austrian sprinter of Barbadian origin.

He began his track and field career in 2002 and made his starts mostly in the UK . In 2004 he married an Austrian woman and received Austrian citizenship on April 16, 2008 . In February 2008 he had already become Austrian national champion in the 60-meter run in the hall. In the same year he also won the national outdoor titles in the 100 and 200 meters . However, he missed the targeted qualification for the Olympic Games in Beijing .

In 2009 Moseley defended his titles in the 60 and 100 meters. He finished eighth in the 60-meter run at the European Indoor Championships in Turin . At the Military World Championships in Sofia , he won the silver medal in the 100-meter run. He set a new personal best of 10.21 s and moved up to second place in the ÖLV's all-time best list behind Andreas Berger (10.15 s). In contrast, Moseley was eliminated from the World Championships in Berlin over the same distance with a time of 10.58 s in the preliminary round.

In 2010 he qualified as Austrian indoor champion in the 60-meter run for the indoor world championships in Doha . There he reached the semi-finals. At the 2010 European Athletics Championships in Barcelona, ​​he finished ninth in the 100-meter run. His 10.27 s was the fastest time in history that an athlete could not qualify for a European Championship final. In the 200-meter run, however, he was eliminated in the first lap.

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships 2011 in Paris, Moseley finished eighth in the 60-meter run.

Ryan Moseley is 1.85 m tall and has a competition weight of 78 kg. He starts for Union Salzburg Athletics and is trained by Clarence Callender . The former civil engineer Moseley is a soldier in the Army Sports Center of the Austrian Armed Forces .
