Rytis Kėvelaitis

Rytis Kėvelaitis (born June 1, 1990 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian energy politician and has been Vice Minister since 2019 .

Life

After graduating from Saulės High School in Kaunas , Rytis Kėvelaitis completed a bachelor's degree in international relations and politics at the University of Sheffield in South Yorkshire (Great Britain). He had an exchange semester and studied international relations and law at the University of Geneva . He did an EP internship with the Lithuanian MEP Leonidas Donskis .

From 2013 to 2017 he worked in the agency “Investuok Lietuvoje”. From 2017 he was advisor to the Minister in the Ministry of Energy of Lithuania . Since April 5, 2019, he has been Deputy Minister and Deputy Minister of Energy Žygimantas Vaičiūnas in the Skvernelis cabinet . He succeeded Vidmantas Macevičius , who became mayor of Mažeikiai Rajonggemeinde .
