São João de Caldas de Vizela is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
São João de Caldas de Vizela belongs to the district and town of Vizela in the Braga district . The community had an area of 3.5 km² and 3409 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Caldas de Vizela (São João) and Caldas de Vizela (São Miguel) were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Caldas de Vizela (São Miguel e São João) .
