São Sebastião is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

São Sebastião belongs to the district and the city center of Guimarães in the Braga district . The community had an area of ​​0.41 km² and 1971 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Guimarães (São Sebastião), Guimarães (Oliveira do Castelo) and Guimarães (São Paio) were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Oliveira, São Paio e São Sebastião .
