Sébastien Pérez (born November 24, 1973 in Saint-Chamond ) is a former French football and beach soccer player .

Career

Sébastien Pérez started his career with AS Saint-Étienne for three years . In 1996 the full-back moved to SC Bastia . In the two years for SC Bastia, he came to 63 first division games and scored ten goals.

Blackburn Rovers signed him in the summer of 1998 for a transfer fee of £ 3 million . In the first half of the 1998/99 season he only made five league games and was loaned to SC Bastia for the rest of the season. There was no return to England . He moved to Olympique Marseille in the summer of 1999 .

In the first two years for Olympique Marseille, Pérez was one of the regular players, so the move to Galatasaray Istanbul was all the more surprising . There the full-back played on loan and became Turkish champions at the end of the season. He returned to Marseille and played there until the end of the 2003/04 season. The first half of the 2004/05 season Sébastien Pérez was without a club, in January 2005 he went to FC Istres .
