Sîn-šumu-līšir
Sîn-šumu-līšir was in the year 627 BC. Chr. A few months king of Assyria and Babylonia . After his predecessors Aššur-etil-ilani (Assyria) and Kandalanu (Babylonia) died at about the same time, Sîn-šumu-līšir took over the rule.
It is not clear whether he was involved in the death of his predecessors. In the Babylonian Chronicle of Uruk he is listed as "King of Babylonia". His reign there was with that of his successor Sîn-šarru-iškun only a total of one year, which is why he can only have stayed a few months on the Babylonian throne.
