Sören Klaus Fritze (born September 14, 1994 ) is a German basketball player .

Player career

Fritze played in the youth of BBV Hagen and BG Hagen as well as in the U19 team of Phoenix Hagen  in the youth basketball league (NBBL). In 2013 he was named the best player in the NBBL. He played in the men's team of the BG in the regional league, was in the extended Bundesliga line-up of Phoenix during the 2013/14 season and played five appearances in the top German league this season.

In the 2014/15 game year he played two games for the Weißenhorn Youngstars , the youth development team of the Bundesliga club Ratiopharm Ulm  in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . Shortly after the start of the season, he tore a cruciate ligament.

In the summer of 2015, Fritze switched to the Mitteldeutscher BC , but did not play for the Bundesliga team, but played in the regional league team of the MBC cooperation club BG Bitterfeld-Sandersdorf-Wolfen 06 . In January 2016 he joined the Schwelmer Baskets (2nd Bundesliga ProB).

Before the 2016/17 season he signed with the Iserlohn Kangaroos , for whom he achieved strong performances, especially in the 2017/18 season with an average of 15.3 points (15 appearances) in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB, before he signed up in January 2018 moved the Hamburg Towers  to the second highest German class, the 2nd Bundesliga ProA . In the summer of 2018 he returned to the regional league club BG Hagen in order to simultaneously concentrate on his professional projects in the real estate business.

National team

In 2013, Fritze was part of the extended squad of the German U20 national team.
