The Sørknausen ( Norwegian for Southern promontory is) a 1920 m high mountain peaks in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In Sør Rondane, it rises up as one of the peaks of Berrheia in Balchenfjella .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1990.
